Counselling for Hypnosis

Course Requirements

This course is designed for all students or graduates wishing to add a counselling component to their hypnosis courses of study. The course can be studied unit by unit at a student’s own pace, over six to eight weeks.

The online counselling course comprises of ten units. Each unit contains video, audio, PowerPoint slides, and the manual chapter. Except for the video, all unit contents can be downloaded.

The counselling course is recognised and accepted by Australian Hypnotherapists Association. This enables students and graduates to be eligible to join the AHA at a professional or practitioner level.

Course Assessment

The workshop and online training course assessment is the submission of two assignments:

• Assignment One: Case Study
• Assignment Two: Book Review

Assignment details can be found in the Counselling of Hypnosis manual. The due date for both assignments is eight weeks from a student’s commencement date.

After successful completion of the two course assignments students will receive a certificate of completion.

Advanced Dip.Clin.Hyp., Cert. REBT.
Ian is a Counsellor and a Clinical Hypnotherapist. He has over 30 years experience both as a therapist and an educator in the fields of Natural Therapies and Clinical Hypnotherapy.

Ian supervises students and graduates in all areas of practice management, client management and peer support. He runs professional development workshops for therapists in the areas of confidence and hypnotic induction.
